Amanda’s passion for history is rooted in St. Louis, where her family has lived since the 1840s. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Webster University, where she graduated with honors, double-majoring in history and education in December 2017. Her archival experience includes an internship at the Webster University Archives, where she organized 60 boxes of donated materials, and another with the St. Louis Genealogical Society, where she transcribed German church records. At STLGS, Amanda also launched a community outreach program, showcasing her commitment to fostering engagement and building connections.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Amanda constantly expands her knowledge through research into European immigration, Catholic records, and NYC-area history. Her passion for British and monarchical histories further enriches her perspective as a genealogist.
When not immersed in genealogy, Amanda channels her creativity into Forserious Treats, a custom bakery business helping people celebrate life’s milestones. Her dedication to her craft, her community, and her clients sets her apart as a genealogist who leaves no stone unturned in uncovering family histories.
