This week’s #FridayFind is grand theft!
July 9th, 1898, was a typical morning for Henry Sauer, a St. Louis grocer. He woke up, hitched his horse and wagon, and drove to Union Station. After buying $75 worth of vegetables (or $2,000 today), he handed the reins to a local boy and left to finish his errands. Five minutes later, when he returned, the wagon was gone!
