This week’s #FridayFind is a full house, even by 20th-century standards.
When you think of a multigenerational household, what do you picture? Young adults living with their parents as they kick off their careers? Grandparents living with their adult children to help with their grandchildren’s childcare? What about five generations under one roof?
According to the Kansas City Times, this is exactly what the Keelings of 902 West 39th Street did. From two-year-old Stephen to their 98-year-old great-great-grandmother, five generations filled the residence in 1952.
